T3200M Router wipes all data on external drive

So I connected an external drive to the T3200M router and used it as a network drive by following this instruction (link) For some reason, the router wipes the external drive and all data on it is gone if I disconnect and reconnect the external drive...

More than 5 boosters in topology

I added my 6th booster and now can no longer see my boosters on the Telus wifi app. I get an error instead "unhandled error, more than 5 boosters in the topology". I can't remove a booster because I can no longer see them. Anyone help with this?
