Hi All, I just upgraded to the 3G XGSPON plan and was provided an NH20A and a Telus Wifi Boost 7. Everything works, but I want to change the SSID and password to my old network so all of my old devices auto connect. I am connecting to it through the web GUI, and whenever I change the SSID and password, it changes and all of my old devices connect. However, if I go back to the web GUI or the Telus Connect app, it shows the default SSID. Any changes I then make in the web GUI reverts the SSID back to the default settings. A power cycle also resets everything back to default settings. If I try and change the SSID/Password in the Telus Connect app, it immediately says "Unable to change Wifi-Name, Please try again". Enabling the Guest network and changing the guest network SSID/Password works and the settings persist. Note that I am using another router on the 10G port and bridging only that port. I want to use the Telus boost 7 purely for IOT devices on the 2.4ghz channel, but I can't even disable 5ghz/6ghz as no settings are being applied. Thanks in advance!11Views0likes0CommentsInternet disconnects and times out randomly

I got upgraded to new Telus setup with NAH and Wifi Boost 7 booster. Everything is working great except that my 2nd Wifi boost 7 wont work. Its connecting fine and forms a mesh network with the Primary but none of my wireless devices will connect to it. I have tried multiple ways of connecting: Primary-boost and Secondary-boost connected to NAH. Both boost-7 are green and show excellent connectivity and zero issues. Primary-boost connected to NAH and Secondary-boost connected to Primary-boost 2.5G port. Both are green and show excellent connectivity and zero issues. However, none of my laptops, phones, tablets, other IOT devices will connect to the secondary-boost. I called Telus and this is what i am told Telus has upgraded their systems which does not allow them to add a 2nd boost-7 devices for their customers anymore. so if the customer has 2x Telus-Wifi-Boost-7 and even if they form a mesh network and are green, the 2nd one wont work. Customers are now being pushed to use Telus Wifi Plus to get better coverage and pay $10/month for that service. Very disappointed in this. See screenshot of my connectivity below.72Views0likes4CommentsBoost Wifi7 10G port flashing orange
I recently had 3G internet installed with a new NAH and Boost Wifi7 hub. The hub is connected to the NAH through the 10 Gbps port (or so the installer told me). When I connect by ethernet to the 2.5 Gbps port I am only seeing 1 Gbps speeds. The 10G port on the hub is flashing orange, whereas the 2.5 Gbps and 1 Gbps ports are green. What does the orange flashing mean? Am I not getting full 3G speed to my Wifi hub?27Views0likes3CommentsUSING TELUS BOOST 7 WITH TELUS 6E ROUTER
I recently moved into a new house where i have the telus boost 7 router connected to the NAH on the main floor. I have my older telus 6E wired via ethernet (also connected to NAH) down to my basement to help with poor network downstairs. Am i able to operate both routers as a standalone router with separate SSID, without creating a mesh? I am looking to set them up with separate SSIDs so that my devices don't keep on switching between wifi7 & wifi 6E networks. Appreciate any information on how to get this networked as i like. Thanks.87Views0likes4CommentsTELUS Boost Wi-Fi 7 Buggy?
I recently upgraded to PureFibre 3G and needed a couple of TELUS Boost Wi-Fi 7 in my setup. The goal of the secondary Boost 7 is to replace my old Netgear router, which created a secondary Wifi network to manage the signal conflicts I previously had. I was hoping to just renamed the SSID to my old and all should be working as previously (in theory). The main Boost 7 worked as expected, but setting up the additional one was not intuitive as the "magic" of auto-configuration for meshing does not work and there is no visible WiFi signal. I ended up searching the Boost IP address by logging into the NAH and once in, I was NOT able to see the general settings around "SSID" (or anything else that I could possibly configure for that matter). I tried the alternative method of using the TELUS Connect or Smarthome+, but neither of them had a option or visibility into the Boost 7. It's all very confusing as what I search in Google or in this Neighborhood seems to be inconsistent. Has anyone else solved this or are you all in the same boat? At this point, I may have to purchase a new router instead and go back to my original setup...890Views0likes4CommentsIssue with 5G SSID saying password incorrect on iPhone 15 pro/plus after typing it correct
I turned my smartsteering off for my modem since it was causing issues with the wifi turning on and off on both my pc laptop and my 15 pro and 15 plus iPhones. Splitting the bands helped out with the wifi a lot but my 15 pro and 15 plus were connecting to the 5G band for a few days after splitting the bands but since yesterday are not connecting to the 5G and keeps saying incorrect password even though I keep inserting the correct password. Also my ASUS Pc laptop was not connecting to the 5G either saying connected but no internet. Both devices work fine when connected to 2.4 though as well as my laptop is showing connected and secured for the 2.4G. Currently the 2.4G is only connected to my downstairs tv (my modem is placed upstairs). The 5G is connected to my upstairs tv and is working fine on it also my father has the latest 17 pro max and is on 5G and has never had any problems that i have had on my phone. Also the 5G is connected to my Apple laptop and I also have and old iPhone 5C that also has no problems with connecting to 5G. So this issue is only happening with the two iphone 15 series models and my PC laptop. 24 hours later from last night to tonight it still says incorrect password on my 15 series phones when trying to connect to the 5G. Is there a way to fix? the 2.4 one is the network ive been connecting these 3 devices to for the time being.76Views0likes4CommentsCan't log in to Telus Connect app

And my admin password says it correct when I try doing it that way Help!57Views0likes1CommentCancelled service, paid final bill already, why is Telus still sending me an e-bill?
I had cancelled my Telus home service three months ago, and after that, returned my modem to them, and Telus e-billed me for my final payment in January 2026, which is 213 dollars. In February 2026, the e-bill came again, and the statement was 0.00. In March, Telus didn't send me an email. I thought it was perfect; no more bills to pay. But now in April, Telus sent me another E-bill again, and I owe them money, but when I log into Telus, the home service account doesn't even exist anymore. Do I need to pay, or is it a system issue that they charge me incorrectly and still think my account is still in use? Please have Telus send your support team and message me.77Views0likes0CommentsTelus Internet cancellation nightmare: still no resolution!
I’m posting another update here because, true to form, Telus has dropped the ball yet again. I was assured that Cammy, a manager at Telus, would reach out to me directly on April 1st to finally get my service disconnected properly and arrange the return shipping for the equipment. Well, April 1st has come and gone, and big surprise—absolutely zero follow-up or phone call. I am completely fed up with how difficult and exhausting it has been just to close out this account. First, a loyalty agent cancels my service without my authorization. Then, I am told I have to pay over $200 in early termination fees for moving to an area where Telus can't even provide service - completely contradicting what the sales rep told me when I signed up. And now, management cannot even be bothered to call me back when they specifically schedule a time to do so. Can a forum moderator or someone with actual authority please step in and deal with this? I am tired of being passed around, lied to, and ignored. I just want this nightmare over with. What do I actually have to do to get some real customer service here?116Views0likes1Comment
