Home wifi is intermittent. The wifi signal is on at the modem, rebooting the modem does not fix the problem. All devices using home wifi have the same issue. The problem started a while ago. We can use hot spots from our data but we need to resolve this issue asap. Any suggestions?30Views0likes3CommentsNeed Explantion
I requested my move before November 15th and with the irresponsibility of the technician my 2 scheduled appointments were moved to another dates. Its 21st of December and my landlord is really getting upset for me using his wifi since November 28th. I pay him everyday for the wifi because I didn't sign the lease for internet. I have pictures which I cant share here as there is no options for sending pictures. I really need an explanation for why its been taking long and who are responsible for all this . As, a customer its not fair and I have been treated well either. Telus knows my health conditions and still they treating me like that13Views0likes1CommentCustomer Service Vancouver Complaint
Formal Complaint Letter (Service Not Delivered) Account Number: (removed account number) Address: Gastown Area, Vancouver, BC Date: Dec,13/2025 To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the Home Internet Bundle I signed up for, which was scheduled to be installed on December 11 between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Despite this confirmed appointment, no technician arrived, and I have received no communication regarding rescheduling or delays. I did receive promotional emails about upgrading to Pure Fiber and receiving two months free, as well as the PS5 holiday package deal, but none of these services have been delivered. I have waited two days without any reply to my emails or call‑backs, which is unacceptable for a service I am already expected to pay for. This lack of service and communication is extremely disappointing. For the price being charged — even at $70 per month — the absence of installation, follow‑up, or accountability feels like a breach of trust and a failure to meet basic customer service standards. I request the following actions immediately: Confirmation of a new installation date and time. Written acknowledgment of the missed appointment. Assurance that promotional offers (Pure Fiber upgrade, two months free, PS5 holiday deal) will be honored. Compensation or credit for the delay and inconvenience caused. If I do not receive a satisfactory response within five business days, I will escalate this complaint to the Commission for Complaints for Telecom‑television Services (CCTS), the independent body that handles unresolved telecom complaints in Canada. Has anyone had an issue where even after resetting the Router using the pinhole to reset their Router been unable to log into the Gateway portal? I'm trying to access 192.168.1.254 When I try using my admin credentials there it says incorrect password. I reset it, using the default password on the router + New password Says default password is incorrect. However when i attempt to log into boost 2.0 at 192.168.1.65 using the same credentials it works fine, the only issue is that the page is so broken that it asks you to reset the password, and then logs you out no matter which option you choose. OH and to make matters even more confusing when i try to the option to reset the password (After im logged in) it says the default password is incorrect? I'm not sure what telus has done to their router gateway portal, but it's such a trash system now that this alone is making me want to switch ISP's25Views0likes2CommentsHow to increase download speed of my Laptop
Hi all I just upgraded to 1GB fiber internet plan lately. Telus provided me a brand new Telus 7 Wifi HUb / booster. All my Internet gears are at the basement. If I connect my laptop via wifi next to the Hub at basement, my average download speed is around 770 Mbps. However, I spend most of my time with my laptop upstairs at kitchen area. It is one floor up of my house from the basement. The average download speed is merely at 150-180 Mbps. May I know what should I do to increase the download speed upstairs ? Should I get Telus Wifi 6 booster ? Please kindly advise.Solved96Views0likes5CommentsWifi intermittent across devices
I've got TELUS PureFibre Gigabit Internet, an ActionTec T3200M modem, and within the last month, all of my devices in the house (though at different times) have dropped the wifi, then tried to reconnect, then sorta connected, just to drop it again, and then hang in a "authenticating, disconnected" cycle until they give up. It's happened across Macbook laptops, iPhone's (17pro, 13pro), and our Sony Bravia TV. Once a device is in this one second it's connected, one second it's not connected death spiral, it eventually times out after a while and the only recourse is hard rebooting the modem. I've tried resetting / hard rebootting the devices as well (start/stop laptop, start/stop TV, etc.) but only the modem seems to allow them to function okay again. While this is happening, it's not unusual for other devices in the home to have solid, well functioning connections. Getting pretty tired of this (work from home) and am also getting tired of the TELUS support options that tell me to restart my machine, have I checked the connection, etc. Anyone on here experienced the same thing? I've got SmartSteering turned on, there's lots of TELUS wifi in our neighbourhood that I see amongst the dozen or so other wifi networks visible... Had the same setup since Fibre was installed, haven't done any changes to the modem, but it's become increasingly flakey as of late.128Views0likes7CommentsHow do I order a wifi pod?
I've tried messenger - they directed me to customer service. I've tried chat - unable to help me. I've been on hold / passed from department to department for coming up on 2 hours. I just want to add wifi extenders / pods to my service. Shouldn't be that difficult.64Views0likes3CommentsWi-Fi 7 booster (B30A) bridge/AP mode
Hi all, Is it possible to set the Telus Wi-Fi 7 booster (B30A) to bridge/AP mode? I already set the NH20A to bridge mode, plugged my Unifi router to it and my network is routed by the Unifi device. However, when I connect the booster to Unifi, the booster is providing its own IPs to wired and wireless clients. And in settings menu it literally says Operating Mode: Router. How do I set the booster to bridge/AP mode? Thanks!244Views0likes6CommentsWi-Fi 7 Booster as a regular AP
Hi all, I got 3 gbps service installed today and received a Wi-Fi 7 booster as well. I set the NH20A to bridge mode on the 10 gbps port and my Unifi router is acting as the router, which is nice. However, the remaining ports on the NH20A are not giving away Unifi's IP address, still generating 192.168.0.0 addresses. Is this normal? Is there any way to make these ports to work as a regular switch? I connected the Wi-Fi 7 booster to my network. It's receiving an IP address from Unifi but it's not accessible on that address. When I connect to the booster's AP, it's giving out 192.168.0.0 IP address. Is there a way to make it work as a regular AP and let the Unifi router provide IP addresses to clients? Thanks all!134Views0likes1Comment
