We were told by both the technician who came and the agents we talked to before that we were not going to be charged for the fibre installation. We received 6 letters, even registered letters and numerous emails telling us that was a free upgrade from the copper to fibre because Telus is ending copper in our area. From Telus FAQ: Is there any cost to transfer to Telus pure fibre? No, we value your business and this transfer will come at no cost to you. Today I opened the bill and there is a charge of 200$ + taxes !! Shock 😮 I called Telus, after wasting my time trying to dispute the issue on the app that tells you that something went wrong, “maybe is your internet connection “ 😳 More time wasted. The AI agent told me I would get a call back. The first one was canceled because even if I said hello 3 times , the machine hung up on me. I called again and after talking briefly with a human I was put on hold for the dispute team and after 1 hour waiting to talk to someone of the dispute team the call ended. Frustration big time ! I was recently double-charged for my internet bill. I have two transactions from Telus, on my credit card, that have been “posted.” I have also verified with my bank that both of these charges have gone through. However, the double-charge is not reflected on my Home Services account, which is extremely troubling to me. I have contacted Telus support several times, all of which keep telling me that there is no double-charge on their end (even though there is on my end!). I’ve been told it must be a pending transaction (it is not), or that I’m reading my credit card bill wrong (which I also am not - I have confirmed with my bank that the charges have gone through, and are both from Telus Internet services). Are there any options I can take (other than reaching out to my bank to dispute one of the charges? That will be my last resort). Or is there someone from Telus that can take a look into where that extra money went, considering the support people I have talked to “cannot see a double charge” on Telus’s end since it isn’t on my home services bill?Solved171Views0likes2CommentsBilling issues
I need help im getting very frustrated and Telus customer service keeps just saying it's going to be resolved and contact me when it is but over and over nothing it's causing me great stress. So I have done all the trouble shooting possible they say it's on there end at least my services work but I haven't received my June, July and August bill. They keep saying oh it's going to be fixed soon and nothing. I was told by the last customer support that they will take care of it and that calling in again won't help as he said he's the only person that's working on this with technical support. So I have unlimited internet for my wifi but I checked the Telus app and found out in may Telus had switched my internet plan without telling me from unlimited to a 1000gb cap for the exact same price and the only way we found out was a warning saying we had almost went over our limit. Internet stopped working randomly. Charged $175 for someone to come have a look at it. You're telling me in addition to the monthly plan I'm on, it costs $175 to have someone fix the service that I'm paying for? That would be like your phone service cutting out for two days and rather than them reimbursing you for two days that you paid for service and didn't have any, you have to pay a fee for their mishap. WTF? Oh and the person never came because it started working before they were scheduled to come and I told Telus I no longer needed anyone to come. Bizarre behaviour.852Views0likes1Comment
