I was having issues with my Pik TV remote, so I contacted TELUS and they sent me a replacement remote that was still under warranty.
I received the new remote without any instructions on how to pair it up with my existing Pik TV box. I'm not able to find any information on the TELUS Pik TV support website.
Anyone have any suggestions?

@FrostyButters once you put the batteries into your new remote and press any button it will automatically pair with the Pik TV media box. To then pair your TV (so you can turn your Pik TV media box and TV on and off together) please check out our support article.

I have re-paired my remote to a PikTV box by resetting the PikTV. Unfortunately, it meant going through all the set up steps again. Any other setting options seem to need the remote to access them!!
EDIT: If you can use your earlier remote to access settings, you can unpair it, remove its batteries, and you should be able to pair the new one.

Thanks for the info.
There must be some way to pair the 2 devices without resetting or removing the remote through the menu.
If these are the only 2 options, the device is unusable if the remote stops working (as in my case) or if you lose the remote.
As far as I know, you can't reset the device or unpair the remote without having a working remote.

Is it possible to pair the Optik TV remote with the Pik TV box? If so, which all Optik TV remotes are supported by Pik box? The Pik remote doesnt have the number buttons and hence checking.

Please avoid posting unrelated questions to very old discussions. It's best to start a new one.
Standard Optik remotes cannot be paired with Pik TV. You'll need a bluetooth remote that will be recognized by an Android TV box.

You can search by voice for content though.
