We want to be the destination for you to seek and/or offer insights about our products, services, and industry. These house rules are meant to set the tone of the conversation and everyone participating on our online community and/or social media channels are asked to follow them.

 

Be Respectful

 

We're all here to learn so please be courteous and treat everyone with respect, including TELUS, our family of companies, and our team. We won’t tolerate attacks and we reserve the right to remove any content that includes: trolling, doxxing, advocating for or encouraging expressions of violence, bigotry, racism or hatred.

 

Your posts and private messages should also be free of profanity and obscenity. People from all walks of life visit Neighbourhood and our social media channels, and we want everyone to feel welcome.

 

Be Constructive and Don't Misinform

 

We're here to listen and to help. Please try to help us focus on what we can do to help you rather than simply taking out your frustrations on us. Making you happy is our goal but we will remove any comments that make false or unsubstantiated allegations.

 

No Marketing and Don't Spam

 

Our social and online communities aren’t the place to market your business or sell your services. Let’s focus on sharing TELUS and/or industry related ideas and questions in this space.

 

We will entertain all legitimate comments, but we won’t tolerate spam, excessive commenting, or cross-posting.

 

Nothing Illegal

 

It should go without saying but illegal content or behaviour is not allowed. Please don’t link or post any copyrighted or pornographic material, and don’t engage in behaviours like harassment, impersonation, intimidation or abuse. TELUS is not responsible for any use of material posted by users.

 

Employees

 

If you’re an employee of TELUS we’d love to hear from you, but we want you to fully disclose your affiliation; please identify yourself as a TELUS team member whenever participating in the discussion.

 

For account verification and to receive an official 'TELUS Team Member' badge, please send a private message to a Community Manager. This will help other members identify and trust you.

 

Moderation

 

Identified by a "Moderator" or "Community Manager" role (tag) beside their username, our team members will use their discretion to help keep everyone on track and adhere to these rules.

 

At our sole discretion, we will edit and/or remove posts, warn, suspend, and, if necessary, ban commenters that continue to ignore, flaunt or disregard these rules.
