I am very upset. Last year, while snowbirding, I suspended my service. I was told the cost would be $30. per month to cover the cost of my device during my contract. I found it reasonable. This year, I have been told to suspend my service again, I must pay the full balance of my device AND pay $30. per month. This is unacceptable and is pushing me over the edge to change providers, after over 20 years with Telus!
I believe this is a brand new change. Has anyone else come across this?

Do you Snowbird in the US? Possibly consider a Canada - US plan which makes the border transparent for your cellular services.
