I’m posting this to see whether others have had similar experiences and to highlight what feels like a clear bait and switch or, at best, serious internal incompetence. My TELUS services were up for renewal. Over several weeks, I received multiple calls from offshore representatives. While I respect offshore support teams. Later in November 2025 a call from Patrick He offered the following in writing, dated November 28, 2025: CAN–US–MEX Unlimited 100GB shareable 4 mobile lines at $30 per line iPhone 17s at $10 per phone Two TELUS/Bell fibre internet connections at $75 We agreed to proceed.Shortly after, the internet contract arrived and it was wrong. We requested corrections repeatedly. None came. Despite emails prompting us to “connect services,” we never received finalized contracts for mobile or internet. After requesting escalation, we were later told by another agent that the offer was “fraudulent” and that Patrick was a fraudster. Here’s where it gets absurd: someone else in my office accepted the same offer and received four Nubia Flip 2 phones (~$800 each) with TELUS SIM cards. If the offer was fraudulent, how did TELUS ship real hardware through their own systems? After two months, 50+ emails, and countless calls, another rep confirmed Patrick was a TELUS employee. The final response reframed the issue as if I were asking for a competitor price match—which I was not. I simply expect TELUS to honor a written offer made by their own representative. Has anyone else experienced written offers later denied, reps disowned, or deals reframed as “price matching” after the fact? I’m still open to resolving this reasonably—but honoring a written agreement should not be controversial.Thank you52Views0likes1CommentPrice Match
Hello. I have been trying to get a price match on my 2 iPhone 16’s I purchased 16 days ago on the phone. It is now on sale. The links do not work to get to the price match form. I got through to customer service after several hours of being on hold, and they told me I need to submit online. I told them the links do not work. They then said they couldn’t help me and transferred me to another department, where I waited on hold again and never got through to someone. Is anyone else having trouble with this? Very disappointed is customer service. Thanks.578Views0likes5CommentsPrice Match From Black Friday
Has anyone heard back from price match requests from Black Friday? EPP deals were available early so I bought in with the reassurance I could price match if something better came up -- it did, for Black Friday, so I submitted a price match request on December 3. Essentially I'm paying $17 a month for the iPhone 16, while the Black Friday deal was only $10 a month. Another friend who is on the exact same deal submitted and has already gotten his adjustment, but I haven't heard anything. Anyone have any intel on how these decisions are made?2.3KViews0likes9CommentsEPP Price Match Pending
I submitted a request to price match the pixel 9 pro EPP promo as it went to $10/mo from $13.46/mo. They said they would let me know in 1-3 business days but I haven't received an update. A number from Telus called me but it hung up right away when I picked up. Can you please assist in processing my application? Thanks!759Views1like1CommentPrice Match - What’s going on???
I went to a Telus store a week before Black Friday because my bring back device was due and asked the employee if I could get a price match if Telus had better deals on Black Friday. The employee said yes and gave me a paper with 2 QR codes on it. One for the device price match and one for the plan price match. On Black Friday, my phone was on sale for 10$ a month and my exact same plan was now at 60$ so I used both QR codes and requested the device and plan price match. I received one email of confirmation. On Monday December 9th I called to ask what was going on and they said they didn’t even receive my price match request for my device and that they don’t price match plans. So the guy on the phone said now I have to wait another 15 business days to see if they approve it. I wanted to skip the wait lines on Black Friday so I went early and was told I could price match so now I just feel screwed. Any help?? Thanks. tldr: was told I could price match but feel like I’m being played911Views0likes1Comment
