Busuu Subscription?? What is that?
This situation reflects very poorly on TELUS and its billing/security systems. I was charged for Busuu/Google Play services on my TELUS bill even though I have never downloaded the app, never subscribed to it, and had never even heard of it before this charge appeared. I checked my Google Play account, subscriptions, installed apps, and payment history; there is absolutely no record of Busuu anywhere. What made this even more frustrating was TELUS customer service refusing to take responsibility and pushing me to contact Busuu instead, despite the charges appearing directly on my TELUS bill. If TELUS allows third-party companies to bill customers through their accounts, then TELUS should also be responsible for properly verifying and securing those charges. After looking online, I found multiple TELUS customers reporting the exact same issue involving unauthorized Google Play charges. Greetings, Just wanted to see if anyone has gotten their Galaxy Watch 8 email to claim and activate the $15/mo plan yet? I received my phone and plan went active 6 weeks ago (fine print stated 4-6 weeks eta on email) and so far nothing yet. It seems there is no way to track if the offer is still processing through my TELUS account. I am just interested in making sure there was no mix up on the back end in regards to the promo. My Galaxy Watch 4 classic is on its last legs and the Watch 8 was the big draw when I signed contract. Any update would be appreciated. Thank youbill
ok so i get an answer that i cant be emailed a pdf of my bill because some one could enter a wrong email address but after spending 2 hours on the phone and finally getting ahold of a person they can send me a pdf of my bill and once again i am not allowed to respond its like you don't want thinking people to comment on the lack of any kind of serviceData Block Price Increase
Hello, I have a basic talk and text legacy plan (no data) that I obtained through an Employee Purchase Plan through my employee association. I signed up in December of 2011, for a 3 year contract that included a device. The contract has long since expired, but I was of the understanding that the original contract would be honoured by Telus as long as my account remained in good standing and I did not make any changes to it. As part of the original contract several add-ons were included for $0 / month. These add-ons included Telus to Telus local calling, International Voice Roaming, US Roam Ready, International Calling, Local Incoming Calls, and a Data Services Block. Within the past year Telus started to charge for the Data Block. Last year it was $3 and this year it is now $5. My question is whether Telus can legally make changes to the original contract ?SolvedAccount canceled
Hi Telus, I purchased Telus sim with phone before 15days, it was activated than and there and after 6-7hours they suspended my account. I tried reaching out to them and when I talked with them they told me to mail certain documents like my passport, work permit and proof of adress to fraud fax. I did send it to them but unfortunately proof of adress didn’t work for them and my account t got canceled. So I tried to get another proof of adress such as G1, banking statement but still they are not fixing my issues neither replying to my mail and even in every single piece of documents I have my adress on it. It’s been more than 15days and I am stuck in this case. I don’t know when will they fix my issue. I am really getting frustrated because of this issue. I think fraudfax needs to be a lil faster in their work as we customer are facing a lot of problems because of you guys. If anyone of you know about this issue, or have been facing the same issues or even if it’s resolved just reply to this . It would really be a great help.iOS 26 Encrypted RCS
Hi folks, Wondering if there is any info on when encrypted RCS will be activated for iOS? Apple is showing Telus as a supporting partner and the setting is available on my phone but I am not able to send yet to friends who are on android. It was made available today with iOS 26.5. Thanks. Hello, I’m posting here in hopes that a moderator can step in and help resolve an issue I’ve been trying to fix through chat support for over 24 hours. I received an email stating that my Bring-It-Back device is due on June 29. Wanting to handle this properly, I contacted chat support to request a return shipping label. The first representative told me they needed my IMEI and that there would be a $55 fee to close the account and issue the return label. Unfortunately, after going back and forth for approximately 12 hours, no label was ever sent. I reached out again via chat, and this time I was told that because I am cancelling before June 29, I now owe $530. This contradicts what I was previously told and does not make sense, as I am simply trying to return the device within the stated timeframe. Additionally, I have thoroughly checked all of my email folders (including spam/junk), and no return label has ever been received, despite being told that it was sent. At this point, I do not wish to speak with retention or loyalty. My only goal is to: Receive the proper return shipping label Return the device as instructed Close the account once the return is completed I would appreciate a moderator’s assistance in resolving this as soon as possible, as I have made multiple good-faith attempts to follow the correct process. I get rude telemarketing calls now near daily from Telus offering me a free phone if I upgrade. There’s probably other pitches but I no longer engage long enough to listen. I’ve said I’m not interested in upgrading at this time, the last time so forcefully yelling the marketer hung up on me. yet the honestly harassment continues. I will not respond to any phone solicitation. All I get when I check the chat bit is to sign up for the do not call list. I’m already on it & it’s not helping. How can I get Telus to quit calling me for any marketing. I’m ok if there’s a problem with my account.
