Upgrade phone but keep current plan

I have 5 lines with telus across my family. One of the lines wants a new phone (currently doesn’t have any device financing on it, just BYOD). Is it possible to get a new device and keep the plan? It’s a winback plan with family discounts.

Sometimes people do not receive text messages from me.I am also unable to receive text message security codes. For example, if I log into the Canada CRA website, it will send a text to confirm my account. Any help?
