The question will be if it's compatible with the network. SIM cards are standardized.
The BV4800 Pro supports some but not all of the LTE frequencies / bands used by Telus. So it will really depend on where you live as to which frequencies are in use. In urban areas you may not notice as many issues. If you are in a rural area you may run into more issues.
With international / non-Telus devices, you may run into issues like VoLTE not working. You'll also need to find the APN settings for the phone.
