Is 8665884146 a legitimate Telus/Koodo customer care number?
I have just received a call from someone from 8665884146 claiming to be from Telus Buy back team and have offered too good of an offer, $30 (including auto pay and buy back Black Friday offer) for 60 GB of data and 1000 mins of International calling for 6 countries as I have recently switched to other network from Koodo because of poor data speeds. Can you please confirm if this is genuine offer or not.Suri9 minutes agoJust Moved In0Views0likes0CommentsEasy Roam travel to Australia
I've heard about a 30 day travel pass but can't find this on the Telus site. I'm traveling to Australia for 21 days and want to keep my phone #. If I sign up for the travel roaming plan, do I still need to pay $5 per MB, $2 per call and $0.75 per text??s_bell4 hours agoNeighbour10Views0likes2CommentsWest Vancouver weak signal
I live exactly 10 minutes from downtown Vancouver (when the Lions Gate bridge has no traffic) but there is almost no Telus mobility signal. Thousands of people are affected by this problem in West Vancouver. 80% of the time when we receive a call it goes to messaging. 100% of the time that we can connect, the connection is partly garbled or intermittent with long periods of silence, and 50% of the time the connection drops after a while. Many of us have land lines just because cellphone service up here does not work as required by law. I was told this is because the closest cell tower to the upper British Properties (Chartwell/Eyremount) neighborhood in West Vancouver is in Ambleside by the ocean, about 3.5 km away. I received a text from Telus today that said <<TELUS Msg: Valued Customer, our network in West Vancouver just got better. ... This investment in a new cell tower will mean fewer dropped calls, faster loading times and a more reliable connection in West Vancouver.>> When I clicked on the link provided (telus.com/sl/mPNaz5O9pJ), it gives a list of "cities with improved coverages", BUT West Vancouver is not one of them! What is the problem? Why is a cell tower missing in the first place? Why is Telus installing cell towers but ignoring thousands of customers in our neighbourhood only 10 minutes away from downtown Vancouver? Why does the text message imply a new cell tower but the list does not include West Vancouver?Bertie10 hours agoNeighbour31Views0likes4Comments5G and LTE Mobility Signal in Lavington BC
Restoration Lands is the owner and developer of the Okanagan Industrial Eco Park in Beautiful Lavington BC . Because of the location of the Tower that serves this area, the 445,000 Sq.' Building, and most of the 18 Industrial lots, their tenants and employees suffer from very weak, or NO signal. We have been trying to contact Telus for years to see about a Micro tower to boost signal in our area. Cellular service is not a luxury, it is necessary for commerce, safety, security and could be a serious matter if contacting emergency officials in the event of an incident. Restoration Lands Inc. has invested heavily and has just completed infrastructure in Partnership with Telus to install Fiber along Learmouth road and our industrial park. RLI's goal; is to see 1000 jobs on this site when it is fully built out. We know that all of the companies and employees, as well as all of the neighbors will benefit from improved services as the existing tower is blocked by a hill, which is the culprit from the poor network. Can someone at Telus contact me and take this on ? Michael Molnar, CEO, Restoration Lands Inc.RestoLands2 days agoNeighbour86Views0likes6CommentsProblem connecting with call back
I've had an ongoing issue with Telus callbacks. I'll arrange a callback re: a technical or billing problem. The chat service on a Telus website will promise a callback at a specific time, often the following day. Prior to the appointed time, a Telus Update will arrive by SMS saying an agent will call soon and asking me to make sure their Callback numbers aren't blocked on my phone. It also advises to answer with Hello and that there will be three attempts to connect. So far so good. But when my iPhone rings (from 1-866-558-2273), I hit a snag: the Interactive Voice Response requests me to press 1 to connect with an agent. But when I do so, the tone isn't acknowledged by the system. Pressing 1 over and over does nothing; the massage simply repeats that I have not responded and says there will be another callback. So frustrating! When I finally got through to an agent by using my landline this morning, she solved my original issue and said she would forward notes on the IVR glitch to the right technical department. In the past, however, I haven't heard back about the issue and doubt I will this time. Any suggestions?Kitaboo40242 days agoNeighbour16Views0likes1CommentCaller ID

I was promised a call back within 24-48 hours and never received one. I then contacted Telus and was told the supervisors/managers are busy and it will be another 24-48 hours, and still no call back. It has been more than a week now that I have been waiting. Am I supposed to keep calling in and hearing 24-48 hours without anyone actually fulfilling that commitment?kajan82 days agoNeighbour111Views0likes4CommentsConnection Fee Not Waived
Just received my first bill and it was a total surprise. The sales rep promised there will be no connection fee but I was charged $80 for that. I have the sales rep's phone number but he didn't call me back. He also promised bundle discount and which is not applied neither. What should I do?sanluwawa3 days agoNeighbour36Views0likes2CommentsAccessibility issues with interactive word games on mobile networks?
Hi everyone, I’ve noticed that some browser-based word puzzles don’t always load consistently when switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data. For example, while trying an unlimited spelling game mode during short breaks, the page sometimes refreshes or drops progress on mobile. Is this usually related to network optimization, caching, or browser handling on carrier networks? I’m also curious if similar issues can affect other lightweight, interactive sites and what settings might help improve stability.4Views0likes1Comment
