Help! So tired of the Optik TV Digital Cable boxes going down. Keep losing signal and initializing several times a day. Now is stuck in initializing. Tech here last week said it was our HDMI cable. Bought a new good quality HDMI cable. Worked for a short time and then back to the usual of the box shutting down. Can’t get the tech to call back or reply to text message. On hold for an hour plus to speak to a TELUS rep over the phone. Anyone else have this experience? Any suggestions??

If it keeps initializing and losing signal it's a service issue. Contact Telus and request a service call so the line to your dwelling can be checked.
