Pay as you go funds gone.

So as per the top up text confirmation from Telus I had $32.79 in my account on Aug 24 and the only plan I have is Starter 10 which is only 10 bucks and today I got a message saying insufficient funds.

With zero phone calls made and mobile data always turned off I'm wondering where my balance went, did Telus just swipe 20 bucks from me?
Oh and the balance expired in Oct.
