Bulk discounted price scam
The idea that I would be charged to pay for the difference between Telus bulk discount on the phones and the retail price after over 360 months as a Telus customer is silly. Why silly? Telus is treating me like a johnny come lately customer one that would take the phones and move on to another service provider. Since I am recently unemployed I elected to pay off the phones to reduce my family monthly costs. I recognize that it is in my contract. I had not planned for the massive bill created by paying off this discounted rate. After 360 months I thought my continued customer value was worthy of being negated by this cash grab of paying off this discounted rate. Just tell me I am not a valued customer and that you won't refund this cash grab! If I don't get the refund in the next 5 business days I will seek out a new service provider. We are no longer on contracts with Telus.Mark762 hours agoJust Moved In3Views0likes0CommentsPossible Scam call + emails after ordering phone online?
was marked as probable scam The number was 579 880 8822 The email was :[email protected] It all seemed really sketchy and if this is legitimate they were not good at their jobs. After i hunt up on the second guy after getting paranoid again he left a voice message affirming it wasnt a scam after 4 callback attemptsmvannus8 hours agoFriendly Neighbour28Views0likes5CommentsPotential scam?
I received a call, on two separate occasions. From someone claiming to be with Telus. Offering a certain promo. For a cheaper plan, and to upgrade to an iphone 17 pro max for free. I ended up disconnecting the call, before they got any of my payment information. But I am wondering if anyone has received a call like this before?Bpaul20412 hours agoJust Moved In19Views0likes2Comments#telus no internet
I use #telus with my laptop where available. Lately #tesus has been showing "no internet" and does not work at all. One of my Dell has cellular but Dell 3480 has no cell slot as this machine has discrete graphics. My phone can make a hotspot so I am able to use that but #telus has been handy here and there, I am in downtown Victoria #telus hotspots are available.but lately dead, Have not been afield to try other locations.HedgeFund18 hours agoOrganizer307Views0likes14CommentsData Block feature costing $2pm

Hi all, I’m trying to determine if others are seeing the same issue. I rely on TELUS Mobility conditional call forwarding using GSM codes: *61*<forwarding number>*<timeout># – forward when unanswered *62*<forwarding number># – forward when unreachable *67*<forwarding number># – forward when busy This was configured yesterday and worked earlier in the day. Then around 8 PM PST last night it stopped working. Since then, all calls route directly to TELUS Mobility voicemail instead of forwarding, even when: ・the phone is left to ring with no interaction ・the call is ignored ・or a quick text reply is sent Verified behavior: ・Unconditional forwarding (*21*<number>#) still works ・The problem is only with conditional forwarding codes ・Lowering the *61* timeout to 15 seconds did not forward Questions ・Have other TELUS Mobility subscribers recently seen conditional forwarding (*61, *62, *67) fail this way? ・If yes, what device are you using? ・How are you working around voicemail answering before forwarding can trigger? Thanks for any shared experiences or solutions. Nik Edmiidzedmiidz3 days agoOrganizer38Views0likes3Comments30-Day Late Reported From Bring-It-Back Charge — Unable to Reach Correct TELUS Team
I’m posting here because after multiple attempts over the past two months, I’ve been unable to resolve a credit reporting issue through customer service. id like to note that, I have consistently paid my regular TELUS service bills on time The issue arose from a Bring-It-Back device balance (~$400) that was billed after my normal payment due date • I could not pay the full surprise charge immediately, but I made additional payments anyway • I proactively contacted TELUS and arranged a formal 6-month payment plan, which is active and being paid as agreed • I recently made an additional $150 payment on top of the plan Despite this, TELUS has reported the account as 30 days late to both Equifax and TransUnion. This was not a missed service payment, but a delayed device charge that was addressed in good faith under an agreed repayment arrangement. I have called TELUS several times to resolve this. Each time, I reach offshore customer rep who are courteous but do not have the authority to review or correct credit reporting, and unable to escalate this to a credit reporting team. This has left me stuck in a loop with no effective resolution, despite my efforts to stay current and work with TELUS. I am requesting assistance from TELUS escalation / credit reporting support to review this case and consider a goodwill correction. Any guidance or escalation assistance from TELUS moderators would be appreciated. Thx, Adrianidadriancity3 days agoNeighbour55Views0likes2CommentsWaiting on refund
I had a bring it back cell phone plan for my family that expired in September 2025. I returned all 4 iPhones Sept 1,2025 as requested and as per standard process according to Telus. However I was charged $1568.79 for all four iPhones on Oct 7. I had contacted Telus customer service several times to find out what’s going on. They were able to locate all 4 phones but they were not properly recorded as returned on my account. They have told me that they will eventually apply the returns to my account and refund my money. It is Jan 5, 2026 and still no word about my refund. Basically Telus has taken an interest free loan by deducting my money from my account and now they are dragging their feet to return my cash. Not too mention this mistake was a result of their own doing. I am quite frustrated and annoyed to keep contacting Telus to find out when I’m gonna see my money. Quite frankly it should be returned with interest owing.Mssang4 days agoNeighbour55Views0likes3CommentsBring It Back Contract Expiring - Flagship Not Released Yet
I have consistantly been on a bring-it-back contract for the last 6 years. The cycle has been perfect with aligning a new contract with the release of the new Samsung flagship phone. Unfortunately, this year seems to be different. My contract is up on the 17th, and there has been no mention of the S26 release yet. Will Telus provide an extension for me to wait for the new release? I would really like to get the newest model if possible, but don't want to pay the bring-it-back amount to keep the phone.34Views0likes1Comment
