#telus no internet
I use #telus with my laptop where available. Lately #tesus has been showing "no internet" and does not work at all. One of my Dell has cellular but Dell 3480 has no cell slot as this machine has discrete graphics. My phone can make a hotspot so I am able to use that but #telus has been handy here and there, I am in downtown Victoria #telus hotspots are available.but lately dead, Have not been afield to try other locations.HedgeFund3 hours agoOrganizer266Views0likes13CommentsGot nowhere with 'customer service' agents
How do I make a formal complaint? Wasted an hour this morning trying to get an explanation of why the sums on my transaction history shown online don't add up. Changes in the balance are more than the debits shown. Talked to two agents. One call dropped. Asked other agent to escalate my complaint and got put on hold again then after about 5 minutes I gave up in utter frustration. I purchased a phone plan today, downloaded My Telus app and trying to complete the setup but have problem with the last step "2-factor authentication". I press the Set up button, then on next screen I press "Turn on 2-factor authentication", and the next screen says "You'll need the My TELUS app on the phone you use most for 2-factor authentication"and when I press the "Launch setup" it shows this error: "Error loading page Domain: undefined Error Code: -10 Description: net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME" Looks like the process can't identify that My Telus app is already installed and currently being used for completing this setup. I searched Google and tried all suggestions like restarting and reinstalling the app, allowing all permissions, ensuring correct date and time, turning the WiFi and using only data, etc, but nothing helped. I just renewed a contract I owed $106 in early cancellation fees. I owe $310 and bring it back and the new phone was $1,460 so I had to pay tax on that my phone bill is $101 for reference my total bill for my phone was $1016 this absolutely does not make sense and they are saying there's nothing wrong. I wish I could talk to someone local as taxes first of all they charged me $349 our tax rate is 11% hopefully someone can make sense of this for me in the near future. Once my two years is up I'll be canceling my services with Telus as when I renewed this past phone the rep lied to me funny thing is I record every conversation on my phone I called back the next day and they try telling me I couldn't cancel the contract. Once I said I had a recording and they investigated I got a cheap plan and an upgraded iPhone from a 256 to a 516 GB so that's good but now this billing issue and nobody takes accountability. As the title says I recently started and account for my wife and made the first payment fairly quickly when I got the bill. I signed into My Telus account and saw the bill was still outstanding, it took my a bit to realize that I had accidentally paid the 171$ to my old Telus account from nearly 5 years ago. I attempted to sign in and access the account but it has been deactivated and the payment has gone through and can’t be cancelled through my bank. My spouse recently received a winback offer from Koodo/TELUS. As part of that offer, the agent also extended a very attractive deal to move my number to TELUS, since I was in the market for a new phone. The agent offered me a great promotion on a Samsung Galaxy S25+. My registration was completed successfully, including the credit check. However, when I received the contract, the details did not match what had been discussed. I contacted support, and after being transferred to a winback agent, they helped cancel the incorrect order and place a new one with the correct terms. I paid for the order and received the updated contract, which matched the agreed offer. After that, there were no updates on the order for two days, so I contacted support again. I was then informed that the second order had also been cancelled. The reason provided was that additional documentation was required to process the order. While I understand the need for verification, I believe the order should have been placed on hold and I should have been contacted proactively to complete the required steps, rather than having it cancelled without notice. At this point, it feels like TELUS may be unwilling to honor the offer that was originally made, and the order was cancelled unfairly. I’m hoping someone can review my case and help reinstate the same offer as promised. My account is linked to the same email address, should you need to review the details.
