Pik tv channel tlc, on demand not working

Hi, I subscribe to TLC on PIK TV and the on demand feature still says i need to subscribe.  I can watch live TLC tv but can't view TLC on demand content.  This only happens to TLC the channel, I have other channels I subscribe to and I am able to view their on demand content. 

 

I have tried numerous times to reboot and restart my PIK tv box but it does not help.

 

Any help anyone please.

I connected with our On Demand team - and there is a bug in the system that is causing this. They are working on fixing it, but don't have timelines on this yet. The good news - there is a workaround that doesn't involve calling in to our call centre:  you can log into your My TELUS account and remove TLC for another channel and wait for confirmation that the change has happened. You can then log back into your account and re-add TLC (making sure to drop the channel you added) and you should be able to get access to the On Demand shows.

 

I know that this is not ideal, and in a normal world our call centres would be able to handle this quickly for you, but we're not in a normal world right now!

Thanks for your responses NFtoBC and KHR.

I removed TLC but my subscription does not change after I add/remove channels. I did not get a confirmation email and I did it twice.

 

I guess I will just live with it. For me the TLC on demand is a NEW feature on my PIK tv box, anyways. 

So, I tried again yesterday and TLC channel was removed today.  I then added it back today.  

 

This did fix my on demand problem.  I am able to view content from TLC on demand FINALLY after 2 years.

 

The only bad thing is that I am stuck with a channel for 30 days.  Once I add a new channel you are prevented from changing it for 30 days.

 

Oh well!
