Concern Regarding Network
Dear TELUS Mobility Head Office, My name is Sayed, and my account number is [mod edit - private info]. I recently signed up with TELUS within the past week, and I would like to be honest in expressing my disappointment with the service so far. I am experiencing frequent missed calls where my phone does not ring at all, along with unreliable service and internet connectivity in several locations. I am an electrician and operate my own business, which relies heavily on phone calls and online access. Every missed call can mean a missed client and a lost business opportunity. This has already begun to affect my work, which is very concerning for me. I would like to understand whether this level of service is expected, or if there is something that can be done to resolve these issues promptly. I joined TELUS expecting reliable coverage and performance, especially for business use. At this time, I have also been approached by Rogers with offers for new phones and improved plans, which I am considering if these issues cannot be addressed. I would appreciate your assistance in reviewing my account and advising on any solutions available to improve service reliability. I look forward to your response and hope this matter can be resolved. Thank you for your time and attention. Sincerely, Sayed [mod edit - private info]Tamim3 hours agoJust Moved In17Views0likes1CommentReturn label for Bring it Device
I have called customer service 9 times and all 9 times I have been told different things. They promised to send the return label within 48 hours which still has not been sent. Every time when I call telus regarding this matter, I have to spend at least 30 min to talk to a telus agent. You guys wasted my time and I am very unsatisfied with the service. I've still didnt get return label yet. And my return device period was expired. Please help me to solve this problem.2Views0likes0CommentsMobility Offer Issue
I’m posting this to see whether others have had similar experiences and to highlight what feels like a clear bait and switch or, at best, serious internal incompetence. My TELUS services were up for renewal. Over several weeks, I received multiple calls from offshore representatives. While I respect offshore support teams. Later in November 2025 a call from Patrick He offered the following in writing, dated November 28, 2025: CAN–US–MEX Unlimited 100GB shareable 4 mobile lines at $30 per line iPhone 17s at $10 per phone Two TELUS/Bell fibre internet connections at $75 We agreed to proceed.Shortly after, the internet contract arrived and it was wrong. We requested corrections repeatedly. None came. Despite emails prompting us to “connect services,” we never received finalized contracts for mobile or internet. After requesting escalation, we were later told by another agent that the offer was “fraudulent” and that Patrick was a fraudster. Here’s where it gets absurd: someone else in my office accepted the same offer and received four Nubia Flip 2 phones (~$800 each) with TELUS SIM cards. If the offer was fraudulent, how did TELUS ship real hardware through their own systems? After two months, 50+ emails, and countless calls, another rep confirmed Patrick was a TELUS employee. The final response reframed the issue as if I were asking for a competitor price match—which I was not. I simply expect TELUS to honor a written offer made by their own representative. Has anyone else experienced written offers later denied, reps disowned, or deals reframed as “price matching” after the fact? I’m still open to resolving this reasonably—but honoring a written agreement should not be controversial.Thank you24Views0likes1Comment30-Day Late Reported From Bring-It-Back Charge — Unable to Reach Correct TELUS Team
I’m posting here because after multiple attempts over the past two months, I’ve been unable to resolve a credit reporting issue through customer service. id like to note that, I have consistently paid my regular TELUS service bills on time The issue arose from a Bring-It-Back device balance (~$400) that was billed after my normal payment due date • I could not pay the full surprise charge immediately, but I made additional payments anyway • I proactively contacted TELUS and arranged a formal 6-month payment plan, which is active and being paid as agreed • I recently made an additional $150 payment on top of the plan Despite this, TELUS has reported the account as 30 days late to both Equifax and TransUnion. This was not a missed service payment, but a delayed device charge that was addressed in good faith under an agreed repayment arrangement. I have called TELUS several times to resolve this. Each time, I reach offshore customer rep who are courteous but do not have the authority to review or correct credit reporting, and unable to escalate this to a credit reporting team. This has left me stuck in a loop with no effective resolution, despite my efforts to stay current and work with TELUS. I am requesting assistance from TELUS escalation / credit reporting support to review this case and consider a goodwill correction. Any guidance or escalation assistance from TELUS moderators would be appreciated. This appears to be a community-wide issue in Whistler. There have been many conversations and complaints on social media and speaking with friends on Telus/Koodo who are experiencing major disruption of service. Can anyone at Telus provide information as to why I’m getting no signal/SOS throughout Whistler, or at least escalate this to someone who does? I can’t justify paying for this service when I’m not getting any, and on the occasion I get 1-2 bars of “5G” service, the bandwidth speeds are so slow I feel like I’m on dial up in 1999. It’s been bad for a long time, and significantly so in the last few weeks. I understand that population grows significantly around this time of year, and can impact service speeds, but this is ridiculous. Get the technicians out here to resolve this once and for all.SOS_Whistler9 hours agoNeighbour11Views0likes1CommentStream+ Basic Activation Not Working
Hello, Subscribed to Stream+ Basic but the activation not working. Clicked on the links on the activate page, it just kept showing the page is not working. I looked through the forum, appears that this is common issue.KLT11418 hours agoJust Moved In9Views0likes0CommentsShipping Label to Bring My Phone Back
Hello, I had an EPP plan with Telus that ended recently and with that, I’ve been attempting to return my phone as it was part of the ‘bring it back plan’. I’ve called them three days in a row to obtain a shipping label and every time I’ve called, the rep has said that I would get the shipping label via text within 24 hours. When I call the following day to let them know that I haven’t received any text, I keep getting the same response that they’re having technical issues. It surely can’t be that difficult to send a shipping label via text, can it? I have not received anything to date and I’m getting increasingly frustrated. Does anyone have any suggestions about how I can get this issue resolved asap?Smilez200720 hours agoNeighbour35Views0likes4CommentsBring it back bait and switch
Signed a 2 yr contract with Telus with the bring it back program. At the end of the contract I decided to switch providers because of poor telus coverage in my area and significant lower cost. I have since received a large bill to payoff the phones. I would love to return the phones as per the contract but this seems to be impossible. Stores won't take them and all my calls are met with 1 hour plus on hold until I give up.96603 days agoNeighbour26Views0likes0CommentsBulk discounted price scam
The idea that I would be charged to pay for the difference between Telus bulk discount on the phones and the retail price after over 360 months as a Telus customer is silly. Why silly? Telus is treating me like a johnny come lately customer one that would take the phones and move on to another service provider. Since I am recently unemployed I elected to pay off the phones to reduce my family monthly costs. I recognize that it is in my contract. I had not planned for the massive bill created by paying off this discounted rate. After 360 months I thought my continued customer value was worthy of being negated by this cash grab of paying off this discounted rate. Just tell me I am not a valued customer and that you won't refund this cash grab! If I don't get the refund in the next 5 business days I will seek out a new service provider. We are no longer on contracts with Telus.Mark764 days agoNeighbour16Views0likes0CommentsPossible Scam call + emails after ordering phone online?
