I was in Cornwall Ontario last night (a border town) and received a text saying "Welcome to the US." I didn't think much of it. I'm a new customer and it's my first time with a data plan, and I didn't know if this was normal or not. The next morning I received a text saying "welcome back to Canada" with information stating I would be billed at an astronomical rate for my 0.36mb of roaming data time??
What can I do? I never left the country. Is this going to happen every time I visit a border town?
There are no agents available on weekends, apparently, so I'm kind of stressed out as to how I'm going to deal with this, as we are ALWAYS in Cornwall! Should i cancel my data plan?
