When will the Galaxy S5 Active, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note 2 get a update to fix the Stagefright vulnerability. Turning off automatic MMS download still does not ensure that the Stagefright does not take over the phone as it is easy to be duped into downloading MMS manually. My family's uses those phones it not worth upgrading to the S6 or other models because the Micro SD card slots and removable batteries have vanished.

Have you looked here: http://forum.telus.com/articles/54211/mobility/android-s-stagefright-vulnerability
Many of the phones you listed are on the list at the above link as 'updated'.

There are two versions of Stagefright for sure. One is much more recent and has not been patched yet in most cases. The original timeframe Telus noted here on the forums was September for the first fix. I'm not sure which version of the bug is covered in the list.
The biggest problem with this bug is that every time a fix is released, a new way to exploit it is found. Google still hasn't properly issued a patch that will solve the issue entirely.
