Poor customer service

Telus has been my provider of home security since 2016 when I moved from Rogers.  I thought Telus provded good customer service and I thought I am a loyal customer.  Today, I am so frustrated and angry of the poor customer service that they provided.  I have had issue with my outdoor camera installed at the back of the house since 10 days ago.  The camera has been blinking a red light.  Hence, I called Telus customer support 8 days ago.  They asked me to climb up the ladder and tried to reached to the camera and press on the reset button.  My camera is no way to be reachable by a long ladder (more than 14+ feet high).  The Support people told me I couldn't help you unless you can reach to the camera.  And if you don't want to do this, I will send someone to take a look at it and that will charge me $185 for visit.  Next day, I called up my friend to borrow a long ladder.  He was nice enough to help me to reach to the camera (because I am afraid of height) and press on the reset button.  Nothing helped.  The camera is still blinking a red light.  I returned the ladder to my friend.  Today, I called Telus again and told them the situation.  The guy was so impolite to say (also he raised his voice too I can't help you because I don't have a long ladder.  They will charge me $185 if I asked them to send a technician.  To be honest, I am not a technical person and I don't keep pace of technology.  And I am afraid of height.  And this guy was not helpful at all.  You know how frustrated that can be if no one can provide any solution and I need to pay for the service.  That's ridiculous.  I will switch to different provider.
