Re: Inquiry Regarding Telus Router Access Credentials
At the bottom and above the ports, insert a large flat head screw driver in the space between the cover plate and base. turn the screwdriver so it pries the bottom of the cover plate up. Ensure you hold the base against the wall. The cover should click and pop off.4.4KViews1like0CommentsRe: Inquiry Regarding Telus Router Access Credentials
If you are referring to the white square box mounted on the wall with ports on the bottom, this is the ONT (or also referred to as the NAH - Network Access Hub). The credentials are inside the cover. The cover comes off easily when pried lightly from the bottom.4.2KViews2likes0CommentsRe: Telus Connect App - Red Boost 6E Mini
I am running version 5.26.0 which is the most recent version in the iOS App Store. It is definitely buggy. I'm hoping that these types of bugs can get to the developers. I'm still waiting for someone to tell me to "maybe reboot your router"....3KViews0likes1CommentTelus Connect App - Red Boost 6E Mini
Does anyone know how to get rid of a former Boost device showing up in red on the Telus Connect app? It was removed quite come time ago. Furthermore the Boost 6E that is connected (green) is connected by ethernet cable. Why does it show a wifi icon?3KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Reimbursement
It doesn't make sense to me. You bill Telus unless they contracted you to provide a service, and this does not sound like this is the case. It sounds like you are claiming damages resulting from lost hours of work. In this case the Limitation of Liability (para 52) of the Internet Access Service Terms would be most relevant, specifically the part about it being limited to $20.3.1KViews0likes1CommentRe: Can’t get ps5 to pass NAT type
Try unplugging the PS5, then unplugging the Wifi Booster. Then reboot the router (Network Access Hub). After it has fully rebooted then plug in the wifi booster and wait until the light is a solid green. After that turn on the PS5 and see if it connects. Failing that I'm not sure, but one should also ensure the PS5 is up to date with all updates etc.4.1KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Reimbursement
I think you will find that your service agreement indemnifies Telus from damages related to troubleshooting or loss of service, but you should check before "sending an invoice". I think you are referring to Wifi Plus which Telus has made a subscription. Prices seem to vary between users. I was offered $5/month, another time it was $10/month. In my view you should not have to pay to have wifi work in your home. I encourage you to negotiate with Telus.3.1KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Port Forwarding on Telus Wi-Fi 6 Booster
The Booster is not the router. It is simply a wifi extender. The router is actually the Network Access Hub (also called the Optical Network Terminal - ONT), the white box at the point where you fiber comes in and signals are converted to copper (ethernet). Routers join two networks, in this case the WAN (internet) and your LAN (internal network). That being said I have looked in the web configuration of the Booster and NAH and cannot see where port forwarding can be configured, unless someone else knows.7.4KViews1like2Comments
