What's a Community Power User? You may have noticed a "CPU" designation attached to the profiles of prominent members in our community. CPUs, or Community Power Users, are customers - just like you - who are passionate about sharing knowledge and collaborative problem-solving. They come from all walks of life and bring their unique experiences into the conversation with the goal of helping you get the most out of your TELUS products and services. Do CPUs Get Perks? Absolutely. We want our most active members to be well-versed in our products and services beyond what they're subscribed to so we hook them up with perks including (but not limited to) the following: Special Permissions: CPUs are provisioned access to features and exclusive areas of our community that are not available to the general public. Products/Services Pilots: We want authentic feedback so we enlist the help of our CPUs during product/service development. Some of the very products you use have input from this group. Access to Internal Team Members: CPUs are a curious bunch so we help them scratch that itch by connecting them to members of our Product Teams. And More: We made this purposely vague. We want to properly recognize their contributions but it's not always a one-size-fits-all approach. We set up the CPUs to understand our entire portfolio of products and services to help you 🙂. En effectuant une Vérification d’appareil sur votre téléphone, vous pouvez résoudre plusieurs problèmes courants, comme : Le téléphone n’a pas été redémarré depuis plus de 30 jours Des réglages causant des problèmes apparents (mode avion activé, données désactivées empêchant les appels ou textos) Une version logicielle désuète causant des problèmes de performance Un espace de stockage faible provoquant des fermetures d’applications ou des ralentissements Une décharge rapide de la pile due à une luminosité d’écran élevée ou à des applications actives en arrière-plan Et bien plus encore! Faire une Vérification d’appareil sur votre téléphone est rapide et simple : Ouvrez l’application Mon TELUS sur votre téléphone iOS ou Android Allez à « Soutien » Faites défiler jusqu’à « Actions rapides » et sélectionnez « Effectuer une vérification d’appareil » Choisissez la catégorie à diagnostiquer : Audio, Appareil photo, Connectivité, Écran, Alimentation et pile, ou effectuez une vérification complète Votre téléphone effectuera une série de tests automatisés, suivis de quelques courts tests interactifs guidés Une fois terminé, vous recevrez les résultats de votre évaluation ainsi que des suggestions intelligentes pour résoudre les problèmes détectés et des conseils pour optimiser les performances de votre téléphone. Through the My TELUS App, we’ve launched a new way for customers to self-diagnose and troubleshoot your phone issues. By running a Device Checkup on your phone, you can resolve common issues such as: Phone hasn’t been restarted in 30+ days Settings causing perceived issues: airplane mode is on or data is-off causing calls/texts to be missed. Outdated software version causing performance glitches. Low storage creating app crashes or slowdowns. Battery drain from high screen brightness or background apps. And more! Completing the Device Checkup on your phone is quick and simple. To do so: Access the My TELUS App on your iOS or Android phone Go to “Support” Scroll to “Quick actions” and select “Run a device checkup” Select the category you’d like to diagnose Audio, Camera, Connectivity Display, Power and battery, or Run a full checkup Your phone will complete a series of automated tests, followed by a few short guided interactive tests Once completed, you will be provided with the results of your assessment, followed by Smart Suggestions on how to overcome your issues, as well as tips on how to optimize your phone to run better.
