Hi
Was there a glitch today? All of a sudden we had adult viewing channels on our TV and the sport group (900s) had been renamed “Adult” - I saw one channel and it was definitely not for kids!! Would like to have a reply as to what happened today - thanks

I haven't noticed anything like that on my end. I've got TSN on my Optik box for the 900s.

Definitely bizzare. I don't see anything reported in our issues tracker so I'll treat this as a one-off for now until I get more examples.

I'll be sending you a PM to gather some info to forward to our product team so please keep an eye out 🙂

I watch the 900 channels daily/nightly and didn't notice this on Oct 15. Was it just a label issue in the guide or did that actual channels (content) change?

Hi Marcus, thanks for flagging. We have safeguards in place for this specific scenario, so we're a bit puzzled about how this happened. Could you share more information so we can investigate further?

1. What time did this happen on the 15th?

2. Can you describe what you were doing before the occurrence? If you could take a picture of the last screen that had this error, it would be helpful. We know the adult content is no longer there, but please take an image of the screen where you saw the image

3. Did you visit the channel in question and do you remember what channel number it was?

Thanks,

Kate

Hi Kate

1. It was late afternoon. Sorry I don’t know the exact time.

2. I had turned on channel 3 to view the categories when I noticed the ‘adult’ category listing, I was in a FaceTime call at the time so didn’t have the chance to take a photo.

The bottom on the screen where the current channel pops up as you change them was also stuck on (fading out the category below 2000) and behind the entire “category screen” we could still see the content of whatever channel we were on but fairly dark - which also doesn’t normally happen.

3. As I was with a group including kids I didn’t really focus on looking at content but I did change a channel and saw something of a soft porn / raunchy hallmark style sex scene so changed the channel back.

4. Later that same day I wanted to test our wireless unit on our other TV but when I started it up it did a full reset - something that had not ever happened before since we first installed in.

Hi @Marcus007 , the team is still investigating this issue. In the meantime, to prevent the possibility of this happening again, may I suggest the following instructions on:
