Hello everyone, I was scammed by Telus. The sales person promised me credits over the phone when I signed up which never came. They say its not apart of the agreement. The so called agreement was not signed or approved by me in any way shape or form. They will not allow me to stop my Telus services without buying out a contract I never agreed to. I am was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience and if there are any routes I can take other than legal action (and of course never using Telus services again)?

Typical Telus, wondering when you will remove this post soon as well. This is the message I have received from Telus when posting I was scammed as well on posts with me as the only replier.
"First, we've removed a number of your other replies in threads, as we like to keep things tidy and posting an issue you may be having just once is enough for us to look in to; no need to spam other replies with posts that aren't constructive in any way."
You scammers are to decide what is constructive?

Same thing has happened to me we are now paying for 2 internets in 1 household on 2 separate bills and no one will follow me up with a call.

Telus is the biggest scam going. Avoid at all costs. They changed my contract on me without notice. I agreed and signed a 2-year contract, however I’m now being charged $50 per month than what signed up for. Telus has been no help and I have been on hold all day long. I will be looking into how to report the company for fraud. Biggest scam going.

They just keep wasting our time, I sent them 8 inquiries, called them once and they called me 3 times, every time I have to repeat explaining to them, already 3 months, nothing fixed! How frustrated!

I am being charged on 3 mobility services which I don’t even use. There is 3 phone numbers under my account while I am using only one phone number. The worst part is even when trying to reach out to Telus, it’s nearly impossible. #Scam.

I have to same situation, I renewed 10 lines and added 1 lines, I contacted bill inquiry many times, they just kept wasting my time and said that the credits are expired! What a scam! I replied the email to confirm the quote he offered me before the renewal, and the quote stated that my future 24 months fees, instead of paying $25, I have to pay $45 each line!
We could take the legal action together!

BC has the CRT (civil resolution tribunal). Why not file there, it is an online process. I think it is $150 and if you win, you could get it back.
I also do not understand people paying for what they claim should not be charged. WHY? what could happen, most threaten to leave anyway. Ask for a copy of the signed contract. Ask for a copy of the recording they always do for quaility assurance.
Not Telus, but another entity, when all else failed we asked for a copy of the recoding, soon after got a call, we can send it to you but have listened to it and you are correct, money will be returned, and it was.
