Our internet had now been down for 14 hours in North Delta. Apparently a line has been damaged. It would be sure nice to get more info than the generic line "we will get it working when we can". There has to be a rough estimate from the workers! Hard to know how to handle this with home schooling. Sad we need the internet so much!

It sucks to be without internet. Depending on the extent of the damage and the type of line (copper vs fibre), it often is not be possible to give a specific time to complete repairs. If the repair techs have been dispatched as part of an outage or even a trouble ticket submitted by tech support, they typically work as fast as possible to effect repairs.
