All The Old Knives - April 8
This movie looks incredible. There's not too many espionage spy thrillers that I'll pass on, and All The Old Knives is a prime example of why. When I first heard about this movie a few months back, and then found out about the cast, I was intrigued. Then after I saw the trailer it instantly got put on my 'must see' list. Headlined by Chris Pine, Thandie Newton, and Laurence Fishburne, All The Old Knives has Henry (Pine) follow his old lover Celia (Newton) years after their relationship. Both former CIA intelligence officers, they're reunited when Celia becomes a suspected double agent responsible for a devastating terrorist attack that took the lives of many.
That looks fantastic, doesn't it? It has the perfect mix of James Bond meets Michael Mann cinematography and there's no doubt it'll make for a great time. These taut thrillers usually move swiftly as the secrets are uncovered and I'm sure the ending to this will be spectacular. Be sure to check it out on April 8 when it streams on Amazon Prime Video!

Upload (Season 2)
After what seems like an eternity (or maybe just a moment if you were frozen after using up all of your data allotment), the hit Amazon Prime Video series Upload is finally back! When I learned of the return date I was overjoyed and fortunately the wait was more than worth it! Robbie Amell and Andy Allo are back as Nathan and Nora in this hilarious satirical sci-fi comedy. Now, after Nathan has spent some time in his digital afterlife at Lakeview, we finally get some answers to all the questions the first season threw at us. Who was really responsible for Nathan's death? Who hired the assassin to go after Nora now that she uncovered some info about Nathan's demise? What will Nathan do now that his possessive (and just a little insane) girlfriend Ingrid has uploaded herself as well? Let me tell you, it's a great time finding out.
All of the little intricacies of Upload return in full swing this season, from the hilarious characters you meet, to the little sci-fi touches and inside jokes about apps and the tech world we all inhabit today. I feel that while the first season set the scene nicely, it's great to finally uncover some of the truths behind everything that got us here. The cliffhanger that the first season ended on with [SPOILER] Nathan being frozen in the lowly 2 Gig tier of Lakeview, unable to reciprocate Nora's declaration of love...and unaware of where she's gone now that she's fled from the people connected to Nathan's death [END SPOILER] was more than enough to make me need to see what happened next. And as I mentioned, so far...season 2 has not disappointed. The new episodes are currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video so be sure to check it out. You're going to love it!
