Hey everyone! Hope you're doing well and enjoying the new year! March is right around the corner, and another month means another new batch of great movies and shows to check out on Optik TV!

Remember, you can catch all the hottest new content as part of our awesome Stream+ package to get Netflix Premium, Disney+ and Prime Video all at a discounted rate!

Let's take a look at some of the highly anticipated titles streaming in March as well as what I'm hooked on now!

Coming in March

March 14 - The Electric State - Netflix
Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) and Chris Pratt star in the adaptation of the hit science fiction novel.

March 27 - Bosch:Legacy (Season 3) - Prime Video
The highly anticipated third and final season of the hit detective thriller.

Most Anticipated

Bosch: Legacy (Season 3) - Prime Video

The last season of Bosch: Legacy is finally here! I'm a massive fan of the Bosch series, from the original seven seasons on Prime Video through to the latest iteration Bosch: Legacy. Throughout the decade, it's cemented itself as one of the best detective thriller dramas, with fantastic acting, dynamic cinematography, and compelling storylines. Based on the hit Michael Connelly novels, Titus Welliver returns for one last bow as Hieronymous 'Harry' Bosch, the former LAPD detective, turned private investigator. In the last season, Bosch and defense attorney Honey Chandler worked together to catch a killer, dodge FBI suspicions of misdoing, and save Bosch's daughter Maddie from a kidnapper. Now, we get to see how their story ends.

All seasons are now streaming on Prime Video so there's time to catch up, and believe me you'll want to watch it all. Bosch shows a glimpse at the seedy underbelly of Los Angeles, and Titus Welliver is fantastic as the grumpy but admirable detective doing what he can to make a difference. If you're a fan of the genre, check out Bosch before the final season of Bosch: Legacy drops on March 27, only on Prime Video!

What I'm Watching Now

The Pitt - Season 1 - Crave

Drop what you're doing and go watch the first episode of The Pitt. If you're a fan of the medical drama genre or not, you won't be disappointed. Admittedly I'm usually a mix of loving them or not bothering with them if they're too unrealistic or campy (i.e. Grey's Anatomy) but The Pitt does it right. Set in the frantic ER department of a Pittsburgh hospital, Noah Wyle stars as Dr. Michael 'Robby' Rabinavitch, the head of the department as he works with his team of surgeons, residents, and nurses to combat the seemingly endless stream of patients that they meet. Styled in the same way as the great series '24', each episode is an hour in one very long shift at The Pitt.

This is exactly the type of medical drama I love. Sure, there's writing here to make it a television show...some laughs, some office relationships...but it never veers into the territory that makes it unrealistic. This borders on almost a documentary level at times, and showcases the stress and rapid fire decisions the ER team has to make on a daily basis. I've read reviews from actual ER doctors that have said that The Pitt is the closest thing to reality that they've seen from a medical show and it shows. The writing is fast paced, the characters show the real pressure (and virtue) from their work.

New episodes in this first 15 episode season are airing weekly but the season is already half over, so if you're the binge-watch type, you can't do much better. Check out The Pitt on Crave today!
