August is almost here already, and summer is in full swing! August 25 - The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare
Henry Cavill and Alan Ritchson lead a star-studded cast in this spectacular spy action comedy directed by none other than Guy Ritchie! If you're a fan of Ritchie's body of work, then you already have a solid idea of what you're getting with this, and it definitely does not disappoint. Set in 1941 during World War II, the United Kingdom undertakes an off the books black-ops sabotage mission to disrupt the Nazis' U-boat operation in an attempt to halt the Nazi Germany attempts to take over Europe.
This looks like a perfect summer night blockbuster. It definitely has the Guy Ritchie flair that we're all used to from his previous movies and series. It has that thrilling mix of humor and action that makes for a great movie, and these untold stories of famous historical battles always end up being thrilling to watch. Don't miss this when it drops August 25 on Prime Video!

Those About To Die
I've only just started this series and already it's shaping up to be spectacular! I'm definitely a huge fan of the genre, from classic movies like Gladiator to terrific series like the cancelled-too-soon drama Spartacus, Ancient Rome is the perfect setting for unbelievably great viewing. Those About To Die adds to that list, with another thrilling historical drama packed with beautiful cinematography and an intriguing storyline.
With a great cast, including the always amazing Anthony Hopkins, this tale surrounds possibly the most famous form of entertainment in Ancient Rome...combat! If you're a fan of these epic historical shows/movies, then Those About To Die should be on your must-watch list. I can't wait to see how everything unfolds and from what I've watched thus far, it's on par with the greats. The combat scenes are amazing to watch, with some incredible stunt work. The cast including Hopkins and the terrific Dimitri Leonidas make each scene tense and believable. Be sure to check out all 10 episodes streaming now on Prime Video!
