Citadel: Diana - Prime Video
If you haven't yet watched the original spy thriller series 'Citadel' on Prime Video, you still have time to catch up before the highly anticipated 'Citadel: Diana' drops on October 10. Set in the same universe, 'Citadel: Diana' is another agent of Citadel (the undercover spy agency that was destroyed by their enemy, the evil syndicate known as Manticore). Alone, trapped behind enemy lines as a mole in Manticore itself, she must trust the enemy in order to escape.
The original Citadel series is only 6 episodes, so while I feel it ended too quickly (it was so good!) it did a great job of setting up a new spy universe that we finally get to see fleshed out in this new series. If you're a fan of the James Bond movies or other great political spy action movies and shows, I guarantee you'll love this. Don't miss the new 6 episode series 'Citadel: Diana' when it drops October 10 on Prime Video!
What I'm Watching Now
Receiver - Netflix
As a huge NFL fan, I soak up everything I can about the league and its players every chance I get. One thing I enjoy about the NFL is how much drama and how many storylines occur off the field; it all usually plays out like a scripted series that only serves to make the games that much more enjoyable. Following up on the smash hit 'Quarterback' is the new Netflix sensation 'Receiver'. I just finished the series and must say for both NFL and sports fans alike, it's a must-watch series.
Executive produced by none other than NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning himself, 'Receiver' takes a look at five of the position's top tier athletes, with camera crews following them both on and off the field. I loved seeing what makes these players tick in a series that shows what many often forget: these superstar athletes come from all walks of life and all corners of the earth. It's fascinating stuff to see just how challenging and difficult is sometimes when most people think it's nothing but glitz and glamour. All 8 episodes are streaming now on Netflix. Don't miss it!
