TelusTV+ 21T tuner restart after power loss

So the power is lost a number of times and it is like pulling hens teeth to restart the tuner.

AC power back on for hours along with internet, "no signal" blue scree. 

push button on front, nothing happens.

unplug power, 5, 10, 30, 60 seconds, replug and get Telus on screen, then "no signal"

White light under unaffected but remote.

White light changes to blue and back to steady white

Keep repeating and eventually it starts working.

What is the proper thing to do??? It should start working with power on without this trial and error.

Hey @Rocky3 - I would encourage you to re-seat the HDMI cable as it might help with this. Unless the box itself is rebooting, it might be the fix to your problem

Yes I also reseat HDMI. It finally boots after rapid plug/unplug which I will try to remember to start with next time.

TELUS appears on the TV, it seems like a failed boot up which goes to blue screen. What is the button at the middle front as it does not seem to do anything.
