I am getting around 10 spam calls a day from what look like legitimate phone numbers. I have answered a few and its always phishing - easily spotted. But Telus, what's going on here? How does your system allow these through? I thought STIR/SHAKEN was supposed to help with that, or maybe eliminate it entirely. Are those protocols not in use?

STIR/SHAKEN only works on certain phones and doesn't block anything. It just provides a verification message when the call comes in so you can make a more informed decision about the legitimacy of the call.

Turn on call control, it's free. I've had zero robo calls since I turned it on.

I agree. Turn on Call Control. I've had no spam calls since I enabled it.

Doing so, thanks!

...although I've never once seen the 'Telus Verified' message on an incoming call. I'm using VoWiFi, so maybe that's why. I may try turning that off to see if it works on VoLTE.
