I have moved from telus to Koodo 2 weeks ago and have left overpaid balance on my telus account.
Is it possible to receive that balance through my card instead of cheque to the address.
The agent that I talked to is saying that it is impossible as the account has closed already and they cant do anything about the refund until first week of June.

You will only be issued a Cheque to the address they had on file.

even I had preauthorized payment connected to the account?

Yes! Once the account is closed, all of that pre-authorized payment info is removed. Cheques are the only way any company, whether it's Bell, Telus, or Rogers, will ever give a customer a refund after their account closes and the process usually takes 6 to 8 weeks after the date the account was closed.
