No 5G option on iPhone 13

I've been with Telus since 2017 and I changed to an iPhone 13 a year before the 5G came to Telus. I believe my iPhone has 5G capabilities but when I go to settings, I can only see LTE and 3G. Do I need to change my SIM to get the 5G network?

Are you in an area that has 5G coverage? Possibly not an option in your location.

Your SIM might be too old to receive 5G. Unlikely but it is possible. Does your plan include 5G? iPhone 13's do support n66, which is what Telus uses mostly. However, devices will not sit on 5G unless 5G coverage us all that is available, which would be SA (StandAlone) 5G. When the fastest speeds possible are needed by the device, it should switch to 5G.
