This is a long one so apologies. I am tired of countless bots & call backs and emails. I was told to come here to vent.
Back in November i got my notification of "bring it back" to return my device. Since my cotract 2 years ago i moved from AB to Newfoundland Canada. So i was required to change my home/shipping address in order to recieve the new upgrade device and bring this one back. My new address was not recognized online doing the automatic or manual option due to the rural area and our post office being in another town which we shared a postal code with so it would always bring up the wrong town and box numbers.
After countless calls and emails giving telus the correct address they would enter it in ajd their progam would spit it out incorrectly. Because of this and the postal strike they could not send me a new device to return the bring it back. So they waived the 220 charge until it was rectified and my address fixed.
On my current bill i was charged to 220.I called to explain the situation again but there was no help. The best he could do after 25 years of service renewing my plans every 2 years with a new device was a 30 dollar credit of my own money they wrongly charge me. ONLY if i used the trade it in option and got the full 190 trade in value.
