Issue with telus unlimited 50 5g+ plan

Recently upgraded phone and decided to go with the unlimited 50 5g+ plan, however on the mytelus app why is it saying I will only be able to use 33.33gb of high speed data before it is throttled? The customer agreement doesn't mention that, nor does the site.

Good call. Without seeing their account, this seems to be the most likely scenario. 

 

@Ikecan When you make a change to your rateplan somewhere in your bill cycle, you're charged a portion for it (commencing from the date of the change to the bill cutoff date). Your usage bucket is similarly affected.

I wonder if it's a pro-rated amount of data from when the account was switched to when the month end of the billing cycle is.
