Yes, it is a scam email. If it ends in something other than telus.com, consider it a scam.

salesperson.net is a valid email service that's been around since 1996 but the individuals using it may be suspect. There has been an increase in fraudulent usage recently.

BEWARE!!! This is a scam for sure!! I just received a phone call that offered me a $70 plan for 40 GB per month, etc. with a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra for zero $$. My back was up because this is too good to be true. I stayed on the line and they asked for my email to try and make the offer legitimate. The email came from [email protected]! I got a sick feeling in my stomach as this sales agent transferred the call to close the deal. He did not even know if I had other services with Telus!! I got as far as giving my address and when the male on the other end of the phone fluffed off my worry that I could not find 'salesperson.net' on the web. He then asked for my Driver's License # and I said I am sorry, but that is entirely too much information requested as he could NOT provide ME with any credentials for how he found my #. I asked him to send me an email that I could reply to and he stated that I should open a web browser to provide my identification. When I refused to give my Driver's License, he replied that I would have to go to the Telus store to get this offer. Ummm, no thanks
