Scam offer from [email protected]

I got a Call Offering me a better phone and plan service that was not listed in any Telus website or Koodo Website,

So I ask for an email with the offer, and it came from this email

[email protected] I believe this one is a scam, when I search for the email address I found that if the address does not finish with Telus.com, it is probably a scam.

So I wanted to share this so you don't get scammed.

I have a problem with Telus too and have tried and failed in getting anyone to help me. I compiled a letter to send to them by email to find that they do not support email. How do you reach these people? It's like they work on another planet. I am going to post my problem here for two reasons: 1. That MAYBE someone from Telus will read it and send it to the appropriate party and 2. Maybe it will help other potential customers stop from making a terrible decision like I did! HERE GOES:

I spoke with Rogers yesterday, March 7/25, and I found out that my landline was NOT ported over to Telus.

I have been on the phone for several hours each time starting on February 22/25, again on the following Monday, Wednesday, Friday and, although I was waiting to hear form P J Singh, several times last week. For the record Mr. Singh works out of Montreal, Quebec and when I spoke about the services I could get with Telus I was adamant that a landline was a necessity. He stated that he and another sales person were the only two sales agents in Canada that were authorized to offer the packages he was offering me.

I have racked up well in excess of a 35 hour week in the last 2 weeks speaking with many people from Telus; all across Canada to Guatemala and I am not one step closer to resolving my problem.

I am done working with Telus on this problem. I am taking my landline agreement back from Telus and in order to get a bundle with Rogers I need to take my WiFi as well. If we can part amicably I will continue keep the home security and cell phone with Telus.

It is abundantly clear that Telus does not have the tech support or infrastructure to help with landlines in Ontario. Why would your salesman, Mr. Singh have promised me this unless he was misleading me in the thought that I would learn to live with only my cell?

I would not have been interested in changing my services to Telus without a landline. When we went over the details of the offer he quoted me $10 per month for the landline and an additional $2 for Canada wide long distance. If you go over the many notes your system has documented since February 21/25 you will see I am not over exaggerating or stating anything that is not true. I have my notes detailed with the dates as well.

I also believe my problem would fit into Buyer’s Remorse when I was clearly dissatisfied with my service from the first day. I think Telus is a good company and the staffs have been kind and helpful but they cannot fix what they don’t have access to.

Please let me know Telus’ method as how to return the hub and WIFI equipment.

I agree to keep the Home Security; I know there is tech support to assist me with any problems as you were the supplier when I was with Rogers. I am quite happy with this part of your service as I also am with your mobility service. However I need to know if you can match the quote I received from Rogers. What would be the cost of a stand alone, not bundled, Home Security with Telus?

For all the aggravation and time spent trying to get my landline working myself, especially when I was told several times, erroneously, that it had been ported; all the hours spent in total frustration on the phone to the point of have to stop trying between Wednesday to Friday of the first week so I could talk reasonably and keep my cool with Telus; I believe I am due not only not being billed for the little time I had the service but a sizable credit in compensation.

I do not want to talk bad about Telus for one unfortunate incident when it can easily be resolved. Please get back to me by Wednesday, March 13th I have been without my landline too long to have this drag on.

I just posted my similar problem for all to see. Too bad they don't provide us with an email to communicate in writing stating our problem but have to post it here. If you posted this a week ago it appears they don't check this often or don't deem your post worthy of a reply. Check out my post below. I had to do it in two because it was too long.

Glad you stopped it before any harm done. I was not so lucky!

The same thing happened to me. The scammer emailed from [email protected] with a return label for the Telus Calgary warehouse, but we only found out they had manipulated the FedEx shipping label, and the package was delivered to 61 Silverado Saddle Ave SW instead of 21 Aero Drive.

they were calling from 8077000468 8077000284 8664557052
