Yes, it is a scam email. If it ends in something other than telus.com, consider it a scam.

salesperson.net is a valid email service that's been around since 1996 but the individuals using it may be suspect. There has been an increase in fraudulent usage recently.
Info below is from https://www.ipqualityscore.com/domain-reputation/salesperson.net
Is Salesperson.net a Suspicious Domain?
The mail domain salesperson.net is valid, has proper DNS MX records (mx01.mail.com), and is able to accept new email. Salesperson.net is a popular email service commonly used for personal account creation. An elevated amount of abusive accounts have recently originated from salesperson.net, which we would classify as a medium risk profile. Further checks are needed to validate users from this domain.

BEWARE!!! This is a scam for sure!! I just received a phone call that offered me a $70 plan for 40 GB per month, etc. with a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra for zero $$. My back was up because this is too good to be true. I stayed on the line and they asked for my email to try and make the offer legitimate. The email came from [email protected]! I got a sick feeling in my stomach as this sales agent transferred the call to close the deal. He did not even know if I had other services with Telus!! I got as far as giving my address and when the male on the other end of the phone fluffed off my worry that I could not find 'salesperson.net' on the web. He then asked for my Driver's License # and I said I am sorry, but that is entirely too much information requested as he could NOT provide ME with any credentials for how he found my #. I asked him to send me an email that I could reply to and he stated that I should open a web browser to provide my identification. When I refused to give my Driver's License, he replied that I would have to go to the Telus store to get this offer. Ummm, no thanks

I got the same call today. Person trying to offer me an iPhone 15 Pro Max + plan for $55 total. I asked them to send me an email and it came from [email protected] as well.

I just got a call from a guy purporting to be from telus (Chilliwack phone number) with a promotion they're offering loyal customers due to the fact that Telus has been loosing many customers to drop calls and poor connection. Yeah, right... Telus to offer rebates and new phones at no cost to people who didn't even ask for it. He offered $44/mth with no extra fees for 1,000GB data, unlimited Canada & US calling and texting and a new Samsung S25 Ultra, plus 3 months no payments. Sounds too good right?
He said he would not be asking for any personal info but I asked for a phone number or website or email so I can check his legitimacy. He said not to worry, he'd sent me an email with the offer and would send full documentation to my address but all he'd need was my postal code - and he'd remain on the phone while I waited for the email.
That email came from [email protected] with poor grammar so I hung up on him without saying a word.

Hello deng, you're right to be suspicious since I've never seen that plan before and normally our people will use a telus.com email and not salesperson.net . You can send a copy of your message here [email protected] and it will be investigated.
