Email "texts" sent to msg.telus.com from a Shaw email server don't reach the phone (no error message).
Testing with Gmail.com and another email provider in the same manner, no problem.
It is therefore something specific to using the Shaw email server.
This Email to Text service is really convenient and the hiccup has been going on for 1+ week.

I never followed-up because I was out of the country for 3 weeks.
On my return, I find that the service is working again with emails originating from Shaw.ca
To recap, the email to text service always worked when testing from Gmail.com
It was only using the Shaw server that things when silent (no text ever delivered).
Someone at Telus must have reset something in the last 3 weeks (thanks).
It is somewhat frustrating not to know what was done however 😞

Hello robertb1, are you aware if Shaw are having issues with other providers regarding this service? If it's working for your other email providers, the issue may be on Shaw's end which Telus won't be able to fix. Send us a private message here and we'll look into this with you, thanks.

I have a Telus phone so I sent an email from gmail to my phone "10digitphone#"@msg.Telus.com and it has not arrived.
Do I need a Telus email address to send from, that would make it useless.

I have received this email twice today (so far) in my attempt to email to text
