Almost no mobile reception-Riverdale (Edm)

Anyone else in the Riverdale neighbourhood in Edmonton suffering with regularly dropped calls and unreliable Telus service? This has always been a problem since we've lived here (only 1-2 bars despite being steps from downtown Edmonton) but some days I can't even make a call. Previous requests to boost service go unacknowledged. Enabling "Wifi calling" makes no difference

Sadly not great coverage there:

Canadian Cellular Towers Map

It sounds like you've use the "Report an issue" option on this page:

5G and 4G LTE, HSPA+ & LPWA network coverage map | TELUS

What phone do you have? Some are better at using wifi calling than others.

I'm in a condo (concrete) in downtown Edmonton and a block from a Telus cell tower and I'm currently getting 1 bar. My iPhone defaults to wifi calling regularly when I'm at home.

This reminds me of the British sitcom "Bad Move" where a couple moves to a house in the country and can't get internet service because the live in 'The Dip'. Additionally they're prone to flooding.

I know I've had reception issues/dropped calls when visiting Dogpatch😥

I'm not sure what can be done unless another cell tower were to be placed in your area.

Just a long time customer hoping to help.

Gratitude for the reply/info. Have reported it again, who knows maybe this time...?

It's a two iPhone household, not sure if Apples are less reliable for the wifi calling enabled option.
If it wasn't for text and other data messaging having taken over how we communicate, the situation would be untenable if we still used voice calling as much as we used to.

Cheers
