I cancelled my Telus account since I moved overseas and knew I would need a plan in my new country. I realize now I still need it to receive SMS text messages to my Telus phone # as it is linked to important online accounts. I still have my Telus SIM card in my phone so I'm hoping I can re-activate my previous account (I cancelled less than 2 weeks ago) but I'm not having much luck trying to figure this out online.

Hi Cory. Is your deactivated account prepaid or post-paid? We can help reactivate pre-paid accounts but due to the credit profile associated with post-paid accounts, it'll require a call to our customer service team or a visit to one of our stores.

Good day, not entirely sure what that means but I always paid my bills monthly and it was on a plan. I wanted to pause it for 6 months until I returned because I didn't know my circumstances. Now I can use it sparingly and would use roaming 2-3 time a month until I'm back in Canada. Can't find a way to do it through my account to resume. Any additional information or assistance would be great. Thank you

I've also been talking to the chat bot and trying to find the timeslot with humans as I've "booked" a call back at least10 times a day and haven't heard anything.
