There are many discussions on Telus forms about people getting charged when they thought their device was off. In my case I always have to fight with Telus after I get back home for erroneous LD roaming charges in the International LD plan. This plan is $16/day for my business account. Daughter pays $10/day at Kudo. If there is 1 min of deemed usage/day the charge for me is $16. Just came back from a trip. I had my phone on airplane mode, cellular services off, roaming off and carrier Telus. I had to switch airplane mode off while at the hotel resort as to use the resort Wi-Fi. Well, that cost me $16, Telus of all people sent me a notification for a reminder that my plan is up for renewal and due to timing the resort wi fi had not synched as yet. Looked on my Telus billing and I received another txt, another $16 for 1 minute the next day. But, this is interesting as the number of the txt was my own phone ? Huh ? Telus rep provided me with a link as to describe my complaint. Telus Account support deemed the $32 for 2 mins ( rounded each time to 1min ) of cellular service VALID. I have requested after last incident like this as to remove the international calling adder rom my account. No it didn't and now I have a $32 charge. No trying to work out a better solution. Over 25 years of being a Telus business cellular customer and this is the Telus solution. My plan is up in under 2 weeks. Wonder what I'm going to do ?
