Wi-Fi device limit

Is there a limit to the number of devices connected to the home Wi-Fi?
Eg tv boxes cameras lights plugs phones etc

I believe that Actiontec has a limit of 255 devices. Here is an article on that:

Realistically you will have bandwidth issues well before reaching that many devices.

Yes, the limit is the size of your dhcp address pool which is 254 which includes the ip address of the router. So 253 devices connected to the router.
