Telus really messed up

I switched to telus for my mobile device plan a couple months ago. The technician who was setting up my apartment wifi convinced me to switch. He made a mistake and started setting up my mobility account under my roommates account (she was managing our home internet). I got it sorted and he made a new account just for me and all was well. Then my roommate started getting emails that the original account was being payed. I tried to call and cancel and they said it was already cancelled. Now a couple days ago my roommate gets an email that the account is being sent to collections even though no one is using this account. Iโve paid all my dues on my account. I called telus yesterday and they said the account was cancelled 2 days after it was made and they got rid of any charges so everything should be fine. I wake up today to see that collections took $200 out of my account. Now telus is useless and saying they cleared everything but clearly they havenโt. I donโt know what to do, I waited on hold for an hour already for the lady to tell me the account is closed.

So you say youโre going to send me a private message and never do very professional. Iโve already confirmed the account is closed and thereโs no balance due on Telusโs end but I need you guys to tell that to the collection agency. Everytime iโm on the phone with Telus they say they will tell the agency and then the agency hears nothing. This is awful customer service. You guys are probably the worst company I have ever dealt with.
