So I am currently on a two year contract with Telus but I suppose that it only actually applies to Internet and TV because my bill went up by $3. This doesn't sound like much but basically, it is only for a long distance plan and reflects an increase in excess of thirty percent. A 30% increase by any standard is ridiculous and not acceptable.
"Starting with your February 2022 bill, the monthly rate for your 300 minutes in U.S. and Canada Long Distance plan will increase by $3."

Everything is going up from food costs to netflix. $3 is a small increase in the grand scheme of things. Costs get passed onto consumers from all companies almost yearly. Being a Canada/US long distance plan seems reasonable as surely US prices have gone up.
