I think I might have to call it with Telus finally after over 20 years.
my Home Services and Mobility Services have been out of control. I have have tried several times over the last few months to try to get through to talk about renewing old customer loyalty credits and adjusting plans to lower costs. I gave up several different times after waiting for over an hour.
Last week I had a day off so I called and waited for over an hour. Then someone answered and then transferred me to someone else with loyalty. I could not understand her very well and I had tried several times to explain that my landlord will not allow drilling in the roof of the house for Fibre Optic and I need to find a better tv internet and home phone plan. She did not know all of the deals Telus offered and kept coming back from hold with deals that made no sense. She would offer a discount on services that were less than I already had and tried to explain it that’s worse for me and does t really lower my bill. I also tried to explain that my mobility bill incurred over $200 in charges when I was calling my husband at home when our aft was in BC Children’s and I thought if I was calling home or the other cell on my plan I should be charged, but she could not clearly answer if that was the truth?? After an hour and a half of back and forth and me saying no you already said this same thing and I already told you that it wouldn’t work, listen I think I need to talk to a supervisor we just are not understanding each other. She would put me on hold for 20 minutes to get a supervisor then come back and ask me why I wanted one and try to offer the same plan again. Then she says well what do you want to pay for home services a month.?? I said $50 because why not (I was half joking thinking it was such a weird question) then she ignored me and yet still feted the same purefibre plan???? I finally convinced her to let me talk to a manager we are now 2 hours and 45 minutes into the call. The manager tells me he understands and will call me back within the hour with a plan for me. He did call back but was not within the hour. Guess what his plan was? Pure fibre!!! And all the same crappy deals she just offered me. Less services for cheaper price and not that much cheaper. I told him seriously dude all that for the same response? Then I said well she asked how much so I said $50 can you do that? He said well, I will call you back on let you know what we can do. I said when? He said Saturday!!!! This was Tuesday. I couldn’t believe it. I just forget it nevermind I give up. So I pay almost $300 for home services and $200 for mobility a month and apparently my home or cell do not include long distance so I get charged also I get charged additional internet costs over and beyond my unlimited plan????? Who is good in PG area Shaw? I heard they are very cheap
