I read the posts but there is certainly no answer there. Let's review it. I was charged $14.00 for a service. GST is added to make that $14.70. I dispute the amount and the agent is okay with crediting me for the service. However, I was credited $13.33. The GST credit on that amount brings it to $14.00. The following is clearly illogical and dishonest. I ask for a billing correction on my Mobility bill. I was charged $14.00 for the "service". GST is added to that amount so the amount owing is $14.70. Telus corrects my bill. However, instead of crediting me the $14.00, they credit me $13.33. The GST add-on brings the credit to $14.00. Is this for a cancelled service? Obviously, if you have a credit or amount owing, you will continue to get a bill/statement. TELUS Ghosted Me
My problems with TELUS TV are continuing and it is the same issue as explained in a previous thread: TV Buffering and then Freezes on Restart Show or Resume | TELUS Neighbourhood Following the last technician visit some months ago, I was even provided with a contact from TELUS to keep in touch until a resolution was found. I would think that TELUS would be interested in solving known issues to their service but unfortunately, the technology today does not allow them to figure out issues or determine the source of the problem. The "solution" is always a quick fix and just replacing equipment. When that doesn't work, something else is replaced. The TELUS phone rep was even in touch with the technician who had suggested a resolution but this required authorization from the phone rep and I guess that the phone rep decided not to authorize it and just closed the case. I would love to see the records of my service visits and how TELUS closes a case without resolving an issue. On an unrelated matter, I am trying to get a refund from TELUS Mobility for a cancelled service and this is exasperating as well. They can only submit a "request" but it doesn't appear that anybody acts on this request. TELUS has a good racket going with GST. Here is a prime example. I requested a credit for a billing issue. I was charged on my original bill, the amount of $14.00 + GST. When I received the credit, they only credited $13.33, meaning that when GST is credited to that amount, I received an additional credit of $0.67 for a total of $14.00CR. February bill was the same as usual. My March bill was significantly more. So I check the fine print on my February bill and it states that effective February, my bill is going up by $5. They wait until the March bill to apply retroactive February charges so literally not even one month's notice. Also, my March bill shows the $5 as Security System Maintenance. What maintenance? Looks like I am now getting ghosted by TELUS_Support. I sent a private message to Telus Support at the request of Telus Support including my account number plus a follow-up inquiry but I have not heard one word from therm.
