My Telus account Login Loop Error

furfazzik

Three days ago all account login attempts with firefox latest, windows 10, to My Telus - Log in to manage your Telus account, have failed. The log in page, "Log in securely enter the 6 digit verification code we emailed to" I enter the 6 digit code, the page reloads to the same page with the empty unentered 6 boxes. Re enter the code then I get this page https://www.telus.com/telus-login-v2/magic-link/error?error=used.token. Also the working url used to say https://www.telus.com/my-telus?v1=1&lmode=password, then started to say https://www.telus.com/my-telus?v2=1&lmode=password. I have no mobile device, just Dell precision desktop with windows 10. Can anyone confirm a non mobile device can still access your telus account on the web. Also after the third attempt to enter the code telus locks me out for two hours before I can try again. Before someone says call customer service, I have had to call then 10 times in the last two years for billing and technical issues. The waitng time and non understanding english call center automation, then human is unbearable (by design?) This forum is light years better for help.

I had no issues accessing my account this morning with MS Edge/Windows 11.

Just a long time customer hoping to help.

Don't know your browser settings, but I'd first try clearing all of the cache. Sometimes you can get problems with logging into sites when it gets stuff in there that shouldn't be in there.

Since you say you're using FireFox;

1. Click on the 3 horizontal lines up at the top right of your browser

2. Click on Privacy & Security over on the left side

3. Scroll down to the Cookies and Site Data section

4. Click on Clear Data...

5. Pick what you want to clear, then hit the Clear button

Close and then open your browser, then try logging back in. Did that help?
