viviancl I've been stood up the same way at least 3 times by Telus' technicians. Booked appointments and they didn't show up or call at all. Having said that, I've had a LOT of technicians out to my site over the years that I've been a Telus customer. furfazzik Don't know your browser settings, but I'd first try clearing all of the cache. Sometimes you can get problems with logging into sites when it gets stuff in there that shouldn't be in there. Since you say you're using FireFox; 1. Click on the 3 horizontal lines up at the top right of your browser 2. Click on Privacy & Security over on the left side 3. Scroll down to the Cookies and Site Data section 4. Click on Clear Data... 5. Pick what you want to clear, then hit the Clear button Close and then open your browser, then try logging back in. As suggested by El-Eric in a PM, I'd like to figure out the way to get either; 1. a straight forward answer as to exactly when Telus is going to roll out Fibre in my neighbourhood. 2. a complete list of all of the "number of reasons" why Telus can not give me an answer to exactly when they are going to roll out Fibre in my neighbourhood. Because Telus is incapable of giving anything but BS answers when it comes to their fiber optic service. I've been fighting with them to get fiber to my home based business for more than 5 years in a major metropolis city. They refuse to tell me when they intend to "roll-out" fiber in my neighbourhood. Always given some BS line like "wait until you see canvassers in your neighbourhood that will tell you it's coming". No thanks, you tell me RIGHT NOW when it's coming. Yes, that's another one they've started using. Get all of your neighbours to sign up for fiber and then we'll get off our asses and do some work. Which will turn out to be another steaming load of BS when you get every single person in your entire neighbourhood to do that. They'll then start telling you right after you do all their work to "wait until you see canvassers in your neighbourhood that will tell you it's coming"!!! Just like the answer from the "Official Support Team". There are a number of factors that come in to play when dealing with PureFibre infrastructure = I'm too stupid, lazy or I've been instructed to NEVER GIVE YOU A DIRECT ANSWER so I'll deflect your concern by making you visit a useless website and make you search for a direct phone number on that site that will further piss you off because you'll never get an answer when you visit that website or when you call that number. I too have been fighting with Telus to get FiberOptic service for years. Pure discrimination. I'm forced to use twisted pair copper. A Telus tech that was just here (left a few minutes ago) said that it's the City of Calgary that refuses to allow Telus to run fiber optic lines on the poles. Which I find hard to believe. Just FYI, when I fill out the form at the supplied link, it tells me this; We are having trouble qualifying your address for TELUS PureFibre services at your location. Please contact our dedicated PureFibre team 24/7 from Mon to Sun at 1-844-372-8559 or initiate a Live chat from Mon to Sun 8:00 AM — 9:00 PM to help us to determine if PureFibre services are available at your location. So I'll be calling their 1-844 number as often as I can. Chat, if it's anything like the "Live Assistant", it's worthless to use or even try. Consider the alternative garbage that's coming out fresh and new; - Reality shows (the Mentally Deficient Housewives of who gives a crap, Realty listings for places you'll never visit, Try and beat Bobby Flay or some other sofa king we Todd did chump....not with a baseball bat, but cooking???!!!) - Star Wars (by Disney) - another more boring than the extended version movies The Lord of the Rings (I'd like fries instead please). So, I just recently upgraded my internet. I was pretty shocked to find out that I can't get PureFiber in my neighborhood. Which leads me to ask.... When will it be installed in my area? Is there a map somewhere that shows what areas are going to be upgraded? Does it show when the areas are going to be upgraded?
