I requested a service appointment on Dec 3rd at which I was told the next available appointment date was Dec 23rd. I was not going to wait three weeks so I asked to cancel my internet the next day on Dec 4th. Even though I was offered an earlier appointment time for the day after, I still asked to cancel service and close my account effective Dec 4th. I was told they would cancel the appointment and close the account. Now I see a $175 charge for Jack/Outlets on my bill but no work was ever done and no technician ever came to my house, since my account was already closed by then.
