Prime Video on TELUS - March 2024
March is almost here, and springtime is finally upon us. I'm always excited to see what great new shows and movies are dropping with each new month, and March is definitely shaping up to be great! There's nothing better than kicking back and checking out that new movie your coworkers keep talking about, checking out the latest episodes of your favourite series, or seeing what scary new horror movies are available! Prime Video is the place to be for all of the above, and next month brings a slew of great new content to dig into.
As you may know, Prime Video is part of the Optik TV experience, and the Prime Video app is also on the Optik TV 4K media box as well. It's never been easier to sign up! - March 14 - Invincible (Season 2 - Part 2)
- The second half of episodes of the new season of the hit animated series.
- March 21 - Road House
- The highly anticipated action remake of the Patrick Swayze classic; starring Jake Gyllenhaal.

Road House
The hype is huge for this remake to finally land on Prime Video. In this action-packed reimagining of the classic 80's movie, Road House stars Jake Gyllenhaal as a former UFC fighter who takes a job at a bouncer in a seedy Florida roadhouse. He soon discovers that it's not all it's cracked up to be, and he soon realizes that things are not as they seem.
Also featuring legendary fighter Conor McGregor as the antagonist, Knox... Road House looks like it'll really tap into the cult classic magic that made the original Road House so great. Tons of humor, over the top fights, and campy one-liners aplenty in this one. Don't miss it when Road House premieres on Prime Video - March 21st. Be there!

Mr. and Mrs. Smith (Season 1)
I just finished the first season of this reimagining of the great Mr. and Mrs. Smith story, and I was definitely pleasantly surprised. It's a fantastic new spin on the story from the 2005 film, with tons of action and humor. It also ended on quite the cliffhanger, leaving me hopeful for another season! Donald Glover (Community, Atlanta) and Maya Erskine (Wine Country) lead a star-studded cast about two espionage spies who land new jobs for an agency. Wealth, power, excitement...it's all theirs. If they agree to take on their new identities as a happily married couple.
This show was definitely a lot of fun, and the chemistry between the two leads really amped up the excitement. Be sure to check the entire first season streaming now only on Prime Video!
